This imagines is link to a short animation of a re-imagined Super Mario Bros. And am I the only one who would buy it, not to be funny but if this was a game it actually looks really good! The imagine is based on the original player select screen with a 3D environment twist. The imagine in question was brought to us by a digital artist Jonathan Fletcher, I wonder what the other character would look like Peach, Bowser and Yoshi , some on them thought were amazing !!!

Consoles Going Extinct ?!?!?!

In a few years consoles will be a thing of the past?? What’s come to the world? this is the biggest news in years how that this be said as most household now has some kind of console, so then why is it that in a years the console will be extinct ? Richard Garriott said ’Consoles are doomed’. Consoles have come under increase pressure in recent years with high development cost and stiff competition from other new devices such as smart phones and tablets.

"I think we might get one more generation, might, but I think fundamentally they're doomed," he told Industry Gamers. "I think fundamentally the power that you can carry with you in a portable is really swamping what we've thought of as a console."

Nintendo has already said they are going to release their new console Wii U next year, while its competitors, Play station/Xbox, are still in the development stages, as rumors circle around the net. But more and more in recent months, so i would think that that’s a sign that the announcement will come soon.

Dead Space 3 News

EA is set to expand the dead space universe by making a first person shooter and fight game based on the sc-fi franchise. Dead space 3 is set to be a more heavy action, uncharted in space sorta game that we all love, as I personal loved the action scenes in the original games.

EA’s new management has settled on plans to majorly shake up the series as ea said they feel the games have underperformed in the sales aspect. Dead Space 3, the most leaked game of the year , but still no official announcement was almost cancel a recent report tells us.

Production is said to be going ahead with this title and it is said to have co-op. Dead space 3 is going to be set on an icy planet and it will be the last time to see our beloved Isaac Clarke. This would suggest that the icy planet is going to be like a frost bizarre wonderland which would replace the darkness of previous, but will this lead to a change in the Necromorphs in a colour of white? a new survival technique maybe.

None of these games have been confirmed and they can still be cancelled which is a shame, but this would lead to EA funding more risky projects like mirror’s edge.

The Dark Knight Rises Movie Info

New limited edition cover of Empire is out for ‘The Dark Knight Rises’.........LOOKS AMAZING! Christopher Nolan made a rare choice of actually saying something about his upcoming batman movie. In the new issue of Empire magazine, the director tell us some details about ‘The Dark Knight Rises’, the movie would be set 8 years beyond the events of 2008’s The Dark Knight. Older batman can’t believe his hair cut back in his day apparently, and he is doing so well, Nolan Said: "It's really all about finishing Batman and Bruce Wayne's story. We left him in a very precarious place. Perhaps surprisingly for some people, our story picks up quite a bit later, eight years after The Dark Knight. So he's an older Bruce Wayne; he's not in a great state. With Bane, we're looking to give Batman a challenge he hasn't had before. With our choice of villain and with our choice of story we're testing Batman both physically as well as mentally."

Tom Hardy plays the villain for this film and he gives us some details on the character and how he is different to the older henchmen. Hardy says "He's brutal. Brutal. He's a big dude who's incredibly clinical, in the fact that he has a result-based and oriented fighting style. It's not about fighting. It's about carnage. The style is heavy-handed, heavy-footed, it's nasty. Anything from small-joint manipulation to crushing skulls, crushing rib cages, stamping on shins and knees and necks and collarbones and snapping heads off and tearing his fists through chests, ripping out spinal columns. He is a terrorist in mentality as well as brutal action."

That sounds great but Warner bros. Is trying to keep the PG rating, its sounds like there will be a lot of fist fights and explosions’. I recon batman is going to kill bane with some crazy ass mortal Kombat skills.

Rumours of Dante's Inferno 2??

Dante’s Inferno sequel rises from the ashes. Twitter detectives have been digging up some info on a possible Dante’s inferno sequel, based on the blog of Joshua Rubin, which claims him to be the writer of the unannounced sequel. He is also helping out viscerial games in creating a major new unannounced IP for an AAA game company.

It’s open to variety of interpretations the blog features a link to the super bowl trailer to the first Dante’s Inferno, which you would think would suggest an sequel, but shhh its a secret! But then again it could be a link to Dead Space 3 too.

We think it’s a rumour for Dante’s Inferno 2 because if it is then it’s the second rumour for the game with a job description looking for an environment artist for May. However producer Jonathan Knight told ‘The Escapist’: “I’ve read the entire Divine Comedy and I’ve given it some thought, but there are no plans” relating to a sequel shortly after the first one was released.

So will there be a second Dante’s Inferno? Or just rumour around the net?? I will let you decided

New Sony Play Station Vita AR

Are we in the future?? As I run to the window to see the flying cars I am very disappointed. Three new augmented reality games in one sweet trailer! Sony has released that play station vita owners will be able to download 3 free reality bending games from the play station store. As you can see from the trailer the games look pretty cool. It shows table top football, lazar games and a track field mini game, fireworks and a garden simulator. I think its Sony trying to keep up with Nintendo’s 3DS but with songs free downloadable games will this put the edge in sales for the portable consoles?? The Sony console games are more inventive but Nintendo could always bring out a new set of games.

Augmented reality is , for anyone that is clueless on this topic, is when a real-life setting is populated on-screen with virtual objects – usually by the use of a camera and some sort of marking cards.
