The last instalment of assassins creed
enjoyed the biggest UK launch week for the series yet, the fourth game in the
franchise didn’t manage to make it to the top spot take was taken by MW3 but
ubisoft has plenty to be proved and pleased about. Revelations’ first sale week
beat last year’s brotherhood in copies sold and revenue. The Xbox format of the
game made 56 percent of the sales with the PS3 sales the remaining percent the
titles greatness will show when the pc format is released next month.
Chart Track pointed out that Revelations was the first Assassin's Creed
game to arrive as a Tuesday release, with around 61 % of sales were in the
first 24 hours of release. Only 14 Xbox 360/PS3 franchises have arrived on a
Tuesday in the past five years, they said.
